The Bolshaya River is located in the central part of Kamchatka peninsula and on its western coast. It is formed by confluence of two large rivers: Bystraya and Plotnikova. This is one of the most easily accessible and interesting lodges for king salmon fishing. The river has a lot of deep and wide pits which serve as rest places for the run fish.
King salmon fishing may be river bank or floating (1 motor boat for 2 anglers). Accommodation in a permanent tent camp.
The camp offers tents having two beds, a table and a chair, each lighted with electric lamps. A big tent is used as a dining place. Three hot meals a day. There is a shower offering hot water and a WC. Electricity is produced by a generator. All boats are equipped with radio terminals. Mobile communication is possible almost everywhere.
Day 1.Arrival at the airport. Transfer by car to the Bolshaya River (200 km) and by motorboats (20-30 minutes) to the base camp. Getting acquainted with the river, starting fishing.
Days 2-3-4-5-6-7. Surface float fishing from motor boats on the tributaries and the main body of the river. Lunch options on the river or in the camp (at request). Evening time at the campfire and at the table in the mess-tent.
Day 8. End of fishing. Return to the city by car. On the way swimming in a thermal water pool (excursion to Malkinskie or Apachinskie hot springs including bathing). Accommodation at a hotel, rest.
Day 9. Short city tour. Visiting fish market. Buying Kamchatka souvenirs. Transfer to the airport.

- Accommodation and meals at a hotel or in a boarding house.
- Alcoholic drinks
Recommended outfit:
- fishing tackle,
- a bag or backpack for personal things,
- a sleeping bag,
- waders or water boots,
- footware for the camp (training shoes or boots),
- hygienic items, swimming accessories,
- a waterproof jacket with a hood,
- a pullover……vest,
- sunglasses, preferably polarizing ones
- a cap,
- a jack light,
- gloves,
- woolen sockets,
- personal first-aid set,
- mosquito repelling spray.
