King salmon fishing on the BolshayaThe Bolshaya River is located in the central part of Kamchatka peninsula and on its western coast. It is formed by confluence of two large rivers: Bystraya and Plotnikova.  This is one of the most easily accessible and interesting lodges for king salmon fishing. The river has a lot of deep and wide pits which serve as rest places for the run fish.
King salmon fishing may be river bank or floating (1 motor boat for 2 anglers). Accommodation in a permanent tent camp.
In the CampThe camp offers tents having two beds, a table and a chair, each lighted with electric lamps.  A big tent is used as a dining place. Three hot meals a day. There is a shower offering hot water and a WC. Electricity is produced by a generator. All boats are equipped with radio terminals. Mobile communication is possible almost everywhere.

Day 1. Meeting at the airport. Transfer by car to the Bolshaya River (200 km) and motorboats (20-30 minutes) to the permanent camp. Getting acquainted with the river, beginning of king salmon fishing. 

King salmon fishing on the BolshayaDays 2-3-4-5-6-7.  Surface float fishing on motor boats on the flows and the main body of the river.  Lunch options on the river or in the camp (on request). Evenings are spend near the campfire and at the table in the mess-tent. 

Day 8. End of king salmon fishing. Return to the city by car. During the drive, swimming in the thermal water pool. The drive is interrupted by an excursion around Malkinskiye (or Apachinskiye) hot springs including swimming in a thermal water pool.

Accommodation in “Petropavlovsk” hotel (DBL), rest. 

Day 9. A short tour around the city. A visit to the fish market. Buying Kamchatka souvenirs. Transfer to the airport, seeing off.

The tour cost includes:

  1. three meals a day on a "fishing" part the tour
  2. a tour guide throughout the tour
  3. cooking services throughout the tour
  4. basic outfit (tents, tableware, etc.)
  5. transport
  6. living in the permanent camp (one tent with folded beds and a table for two people)
  7. fees for fishing licences

The tour cost not includes:

  1. Residing and a feed at hotel or on the basis of rest.
  2. Alcoholic drinks

Recommended outfit:

  1. fishing tackle,
  2. a bag or backpack for personal things,
  3. a sleeping bag,
  4. waders or water boots,
  5. footware for the camp (training shoes or boots),
  6. hygienic items, swimming accessories,
  7. a waterproof jacket with a hood,
  8. a pullover……vest,
  9. sunglasses, preferably polarizing ones
  10. a cap,
  11. a jack light,
  12.  gloves,
  13.  woolen sockets,
  14.  personal first-aid set,
  15.  mosquito repelling spray.
